Fátima:
Is one of the largest and most important places of pilgrimage in the world, with more than 5 million visitors a year. Recognized worldwide as one of the main pilgrimage destinations and centers of Christian faith, the Sanctuary of Fátima is the ultimate symbol of devotion in Portugal. It was here, in Cova da Iria, that on May 13, 1917, the Three Little Shepherds witnessed the first of several apparitions of Our Lady. The Sanctuary has developed over the last century, displaying today, in addition to the Chapel of Apparitions, the imposing Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário and the more recent Basilica of the Santíssima Trindade .
Partida do Hotel em direção a Fátima. Após chegada a Fátima, iniciamos o tour visitando o Santuário, local onde apareceu Nossa Senhora aos Pastorinhos em 1917. De seguida visita à Capela das Aparições, onde se encontra a Imagem de Nossa Senhora e à Basílica da Santíssima Trindade. Tempo livre para oração e almoço. De Fátima saímos em direcção a Coimbra, e aqui iniciamos o nosso percurso visitando a famosa Universidade, a primeira do País e uma das mais antigas da Europa (criada em 1290), a biblioteca Joanina (detém cerca de 300 mil volumes, datada do XII ao século XIX), a Catedral e a Igreja de Santa Cruz, que obteve o estatuto de Panteão Nacional em 2003 e alberga os túmulos dos primeiros reis de Portugal; Regresso ao Porto.
